I saved it from some website that had a collection of dusty/dirty/grimy PC photos. I can't remember anything useful about the site, though, and reverse-searching the photo turns up nothing.

That I/O card was made in 1991, based on the various date codes on the ICs. I imagine it's just that it can't handle >540MB drives very well. EDIT: I stand corrected; see the other replies.

That case is great... never seen an AT tower before where everything slides out the back like that. Also from the front it looks much more like an ATX tower! Good cable management, too. 😎

Any good PSU will eventually go down due to expired capacitors; the Mitac being 15 years old now probably doesn't have much longer to go before it becomes unstable.
