Hi xcomcmdr, thx for the help! would be nice to have a compiled HSQ compression program, the adlib gold driver is from dune floppy version and made by ripsaw8080 to play nice with generic opl3 soundcards, hope it would work with the CD version of the game.

Tested again and it doesnt seem to work :/ (maybe it works cause the driver on my post is the original dune cd version by mistake) anyway don't have time right now, i'll see to it later. edit : maybe the driver needs to be packed but can't find a HSQ compression util ( found this but no compiled …

Hi and happy new year to all, here is my homemade desk 😜 on the left is a c64 with it's little b&w monitor and at the right my pentium 90 (a downclocked pentium 133) for dos games, the (3button) joystick on the picture is connected to the pc's soundcard gameport with a 15pin to 9 pin adapter.

Changed the old soundcard with a Sound Blaster Vibra 16 CT4180 and sound works as it should now, no more latency problem, lost the real OPL3 for dos games with the old card but the sb16 sound nice too from what i heard so far , works alright in dos with creative CTCM.
