The only time that's happened to me and it WASN'T due to a broken card was with my Fury MAXX, due to a compatibility issue with the chipset. There shouldn't be anything conflicting with your board and that card, though. Never hurts to try it in a different system though.

I believe you can turn off TurboCache. It's really hard to determine the true specs of a card just looking on ebay.
