yeah....tried mounting game dir as C: but install still sees no install drives available

I have downloaded DosBox, but am unable to install Daggerfall from CD (through DosBox) due to the problem that it does not see any install drives when prompted. I have tried to manually install, but using XP renders this unusable can anyone help?
