Not that I know it would help but is your game patched to v1.30? I don't recall having this issue, or anyone else for that matter. Finished it couple of years ago without a hitch. Btw, you're not playing it in SKYNet engine, right? If you are than it's a whole different ballgame I know little of.

@ OP, and everyone else with the same specific requirement Offsets for 1993 MANIAC.EXE (non-enhanced & bundled with DOTT) are 751 & 752 (hex). Change BB FF to EB 19 and you're done. And set tandy=on (true does nothing) in your .conf. Ty ripsaw for EB 19!
