You can expect 3.4-3.6 Ghz with a good motherboard. Quad Core 2 FSB overclocking was quite stressful on hardware .

I'm overclocking my Q6600 on an G41 motherboard. *chuckles* Be happy that it's working as it is! If you have infamous B3 stepping, just forget about overclocking. They are very toasty.

Lucky Star LS486E Turbo button = halved FSB clock. So minimal speed you can achieve is 12 Mhz FSB and 30 Mhz on POD83. Potentially 12 Mhz on POD, if you disable cooler.

AFAIK it's impossible. These boards are far to complicated for generic BIOS to rule them all. Not to mention that they have hidden subsystem which most likely won't like that too.

hey are actually really powerful in the Win9x/DX8 Except they don't and barely can compete even in simple games like UT2004, mostly due to higher clock speed.

That's typical Nvidia driver behaviour with early AGP 4x VIA chipsets. You can force AGP 4x and other features via RivaTuner.
