ha. 220uF sounded a little high, at least for the tiny size. I might just try to de-solder one of the tiny caps and read the value eventually if no one chimes in

Thanks. Yeah, C95 is an easy one....should have just looked closer at the cap. 10uf, 16v. I'll try the 220uf on the tiny c84 cap and see what happens

unfortunately, I think it was already 'tested' by the seller, presumably with those caps missing :( but good closeup! I guess I might get an in circuit cap tester for the tiny smd c84. I have a nearly identical, working voodoo 3 with those caps I just couldn't read the value on c84 by looking at it

I just got a voodoo3 that needs repair. Does anyone have a schematic or values for a 210-0364-00? Mine is missing c95 and c84. Also curious if you think damage could be done with the card powered up with those caps missing. any info would be helpful.

They must be re-loaded since you are loading it into RAM. However, whatever you select (specify) as your soundfont bank, will be loaded every time upon booting up (either under DOS or Windows). Loading soundonts into awe64 That's what i figured because of the ram on the card itself. Nice to know …

I'm planning on getting an awe64 but one thing is uncertain: after adding the soundfonts, do they remain after reboot or do they need to be re-loaded every time?

The board with the xilinx chip on it is an lcd controller, it came w/ the dolch. Ive not seen any other models with it but i believe it was an option so there might be more out there. For my application a 640x480 lcd was fine, but if it didn't have the controller board i probably would've just …

i've not tried a k6 or cyrix and I only have a k6-2 atm so i can't try it BUT this board uses the neptune chipset and I'm thinking k6's were pretty compatible with socket 7 non-split voltage pentiums. It might register in the bios as a pentium though. I was reading where someone else with this board …

I haven't seen a lot high-res photos of this board so I'm posting them here before it's gone. I believe it officially supports dual pentiums up to 166mhz although I've heard a single 200mhz overdrive will also work.
