Some of the pins on the TMUs were bent and touching and there were a couple of capacitors missing too which I've replaced (see https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=94924 ) However the problem persists. It could be a voltage issue. Check the jumper settings to make sure the CPU is getting enough juice. I had the same problem, the K6 I had was rated at 2v but I was sending 0v without realising and the system did pretty much what yours is doing. Hi, As the title suggests I have an ASUS P5A v1.06 with the current BIOS version 1007.A but I'd like to update to 1011.005 but AWDFlash reports it's the wrong program. Anyone have any experience updating this motherboard? Thanks
