I was thinking of reusing the case for something like a workstation seeing that it has 4 fans inside (not pictured) and a lot of hard drive caddies. I originally saved it from the dumpster pretty much, I noticed it had a lot of PCI cards and thought they might come in handy.

How good are Micron PC? I have a tower, but I can't find much information about it. Well since I'm here might as well post this. The dust cover has my main IBM "compatible" PC under it, there is also a "portable" but I leave it on the ground. The rest is a bunch of Commodore hardware. The other half is not shown because it's a mess.

Normally the external battery connector doesn't recharge your battery, so that could be your problem.
