Re: SSAA possible?

Indeed. SGSSAA is the best of the best with regard to AA methods. Find the right bit, the bias offset, and you have one pristine image. DSR/DLDSR or any other modern downsample method pales in comparison to sparse grid.

Re: SSAA possible?

Higher internal resolution, which is already possible, is indeed nice, but being able to use a super sampling method on top is even better. SSAA is upsampling that IR, before then downsampling back to that resolution, you get far superior antialiasing than what a IR alone can do. It's definitely my …

Re: VST Midi Driver Midi Mapper

Just noticed that the MIDI bug with Road Rash has been fixed in one of the newer CoolSoft MM builds. Nice! The Road Rash problem should be fixed even without Coolsoft Midi Mapper if you use this VST Midi driver directly as Midi output since this driver also supports midiOutSetVolume() calls the …

Re: Heads Up: Roland Sound Canvas VA VSTi Plugin!

in Windows
The game was a stunner back then, and it's a stunner today. Playing again makes me appreciate it even more. Using the 1.4 AMD patch for those extra bells & whistles whilst keeping vanilla, along with Silent Patch, the AI fix, few ini tweaks, and forced 4x SGSSAA 1080p. Running silky smooth, too. …

Re: VGA Capture Thread

I grabbed a used, but mint condition CYP SY-P293 off eBay for £20 and I couldn't be happier with the image. I just wanted a decent solution for my Dreamcast, without spending crazy money. All the VGA to HDMI cables leave a lot to be desired. The main issue being no control over the pixel clock (DC …
