Re: Running .exe commands from a Lynux shell

in Windows
You can run Windows console applications from Wine by using the wineconsole command from any shell. So you would use: > wineconsole ~/bin/test.exe /args This command does not require an X server running (it uses ncurses for all output), but you will likely have real problems getting Wine installed …

Re: Vista is a POS and MS/NVIDIA can DIAF

You know, I was turned off to both Vista and Nvidia pretty quickly; the first thing I did on Vista was run the new solitaire game, and I wasn't able to finish a single game before the video driver crashed and was restarted. I played most of another game before the driver crashed again, but Vista …

in Windows

in Windows

One of the greatest things about the site is that they have patches for both old games and new games (occasionally, for games that aren't actually out yet; this seems to be a trend recently); it's one-stop shopping for all your patching needs. They even have a number of unofficial patches for …

Re: Stonekeep - Patch 1.2

Allow me to introduce you to one of my favorite web sites, The Patches Scrolls. You will find this Stonekeep patch there (I just checked, it's there), along with probably every other patch you will ever need and a whole bunch more that you won't. Anytime you need a patch that you can't find anywhere …
