You can short out the inductor and the part will come to life, albeit at slightly reduced performance. Actual inductance will probably not matter too much, but since it is a filter element, bigger is better, size should be 0805. Capacitor will be a 0.1µF X5R type in 0402 package.

The chips absolutely need heatsinks, they run at burning hot temperatures and it is not healthy to them in any way. I used thermal tape to get heatsinks on my card and also mounted a laptop fan to blow air through them, keeping temperatures less awful.

The chips themselves are not compatible with any IBM PC games so there's limited use outside VGM playback and such. PC98 software isn't going to be compatible for a variety of reasons, a lot of patching will be necessary to deal with both hardware and software incompatibilities...

The 32 pin ones add a new RAS+CAS pair for the other side so that there is no need for extra logic on the module itself to create them. I have seen some sticks that do though, Apple orientated ones IIRC.

There are probably bunch of resistors that are effectively jumpers that need to be changed to make the card appear in the new conf. Try to locate photo of the same card with the extra memory and look for differences in component positions.

You can glue the pin back but the problem why this happened also needs to be solved too. I am not sure which pin is it, it doesn't seem like a power one which makes me wonder how can such a pin burn up... Chances are someone managed to put the card in backwards in the PCI slot for whatever reason …

It isn't going to make much difference on longetivity. The only thing you have to actually worry about is the tube itself and it wears when the tube is actually showing an image. Monitor in standby is only wasting some power, but majority of it is completely off and subject to normal power on/off …

The CPU will eventually die when ran at 5V, the silicon is not meant to handle it and has breakdown voltages just at this edge. The onboard voltage regulator is likely dead, I have had to replace transistors etc. before on few boards I have around which brought them back to life.
