x300 might work but its a waste of time even if its working because its unstable, personal experience from getting it working on 98se before. true but tnt2 ultras are rare though. the normal ones and even the pros are not hard to find and still can be had for a few bucks. even ultras can be found for cheap since no one is really going for them,

same never bought them before, except one time when I bought you know those rounded ones in a sleeve. That was a long time ago though and I prefer ribbon cables now as I believe they reduce crosstalk. Just keep in mind that newer cables have that middle pin that doesn't do anything anyways blocked …

short answer is no long answer is maybe in usb 2.0 mode, but probably not on that controller thats if NUSB drivers work. Big If there. Whats the point. A k6 is barely fast enough to even work with usb 1.1 Find a NEC based usb 2.0 controller with internal headers and be happy.

what do you mean by slim? If you don't have low profile cards, than maybe you can use a 2u Server chassis with a riser card.
