Hello Does a TDP=9W processor need a heat sink ? My pentium 200 has TDP of ~16W. After a few minutes with just a 43x43x16mm heatsink it hard locks itsself or throws errors. Heatsink is too hot to touch. I once had a Riva 128 card ( Diamond Viper 330 ) with did the same thing - after an hour or so …

They seem to be rather standard rubber O-ring seals. They are videly available in just about any size you wish.

I was trying to get the most of SS7 system made of Shuttle HOT-591p and Pentium 200 ( p54c ). Don't spread fud 😀 You can use a semi passive solution, like Arctic Accelero Rev.2 with a slow fans blowing at it. I had such solution on a 3870 back in the day and it worked like a charm.

Unless you make money with it, thus you require to make the optimal gain/effort decisions, the point is _entirely up to you_. For all intents and purposes, I collect pentium pros because I have an irrational fear of them and want to destroy EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM 😀
