The cable seems to be fine, I would also assume that there is a faulty capacitor, but there's doesn't seem to be any visible flaws. I guess i just have to test them one by one.

My friend gave me an old crt monitor that was disassembled to atoms. Well i managed to put everything back together and the monitor seems to power on, but the picture looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWQfqIzGGj4 Any suggestions what could cause this?
