Yes, The CPU fan was Frozen stopped so that is why I used a shot of WD40. But I have since replaced the fan.

What is the speaker connector pin-out for this card ? My speaker wire from CD-ROM drive only has 3 wires. Red, black, white. What is pin 1,2, 3, 4 Which is left and right and ground ?

I just have to say. These IBM PS/1’s from 1993/94 are some really good OEM computers. Reasons: Good quality all steel cases. Easy to open and repair. NON-OEM components. Accepts 3rd party components. Does anyone know of any paintable copper trace material. That you can just paint on to rebuild the traces and pads ? What about liquid solder that you can apply like glue and just glue on the capacitors ? Any such materials exists ?

The Gravis Ultrasound is rare and expensive for collectors. But I just want a good sounding ISA sound card that has the clarity of the GUS. Do you know of any ? I have a Sound Blaster 2.0 right now but it’s not to clear in playing DOS games.

Looks like the pads are gone on the PCB. I think I will put these away for now. I don’t have time to try to repair the PCB pads. So long Sony....
