workaround can be a pci to ide card but it's not 100% sure to be working, worth a try if you got one around

i got info from old forum that this motherboard and athlon are not stable with 133 mhz memory if you can try memory that are 100 mhz

I remember i got very same issue with one socket a platform. I underclock cpu with jumpers on mobo and everything working ok ( i did 200 mhz less for athlon 2000) for you 100 - 133 mhz less is a good test i think

Yes, i can confirm i have analog connection between the analog out header on the CD-ROM to a header on the soundcard. also analog audio is working OK on Dos via default creative live dos driver, can it be a problem with sbemu parameters setup?

CF card still works very well! (since 25.01) Thank you for helpful and interesting informations I did routine check-up today: 1) h2testw (full write and read test) 2) low level format 3)restore system backup and full scandisk Every test was OK, no single error

Maybe there is a way to disable CMOS/Dallas, some board got this option if you got nothing to lose I would try to set different combinations on J16 jumpers I know it's a low chance, but maybe worth a try
