You need to run the SetVGA.exe tool, and the video bios needs to be shadowed in BIOS or through Rambios.sys. "setvga -m2", or if it doesn't work "setvga -m1". SetVGA is in the Dos drivers: https://ftp.matrox.com/pub/mga/othermga/previous/1552_164.zip from here: https://video.matrox.com/en/apps/ …

Hy, I tried matrox impressic plus benchmark with doom Its has 15-20% speed of other cards,like s3 928, tseng 4000-6100, ark 1000-2000 Is some solution or patch for fos games with matrox cards?

I tried with this card with Doom Its very slow, 1/5-1/6 speed can compared to s3 928, tseng et4000-6000-6100, and ark 1000-2000 Is any solution to work matrox card faster with dos games?

Yes, sorry i was confused. I think alliance at24/25/at3d is the same chip. I read elsewhere about Diamond stealth video 2500 is a dx5 card, but with original driver no direct3d

It looks like the drivers clocked the memory way too high. You can adjust it with third-party tools like Powerstrip. But AT24 does not belong in this thread about 3D cards. I only here find any information of drivers, and here was hte modded driver, what i tried: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic. …

I founded windows95 drivers only. Can someone share with me windows98se drivers ftom diamond? I try install w95 drivers on win98, but directx diagnostic (dxdiag.exe) show only directdraw capability , no direct3d And with which 3d game/test program can i test functionality?
