(finally) Diagnosed and got my STDX2-66 system running! It was 2 ram sticks that were faulty. 1MB sticks so was not a big fault. Got 7,88 MB ram (will buy more soon). Machine runs beautifully.

All right, so I was on a garage sale and I picked up a new motherboard. It was cheap (7$). Guess what, it booted right up (after setting the jumpers of course) Thanks to everyone that helped me. windowsio

Unfortunatly I have not got any speakers (you know pc speakers) near the CPU socket, only from the bottom.

I'm done. Still nothing. I've connected a FDD and it just lights up green when the IDE cable is connected(power no IDE = no led)

OK, didn't finish doing it but I've noticed the board heats up EXTREMLY in some spots. That shouldn't be good, right?

Hi! So, I have purchased a 486 DX2 (AMD) and a mobo that is green (green like a MANUFACTURER NOT A COLOR) When I hooked it up to a adapter so my PSU could work with it the fan spins, nothing else. I have a trident video card. Thanks for any help. windowsio
