@antiriad From my personal experience, ACPI implementation in windows 98 is exceedingly buggy, to the point where I would say that it could be the cause of your resource conflicts. @antiriad Your device ID - 10DE-00C1 - is an NV41 nvidia Geforce 6800, so the driver should work with it. For whatever reason though it's not listed in NVAGP.INF You should be able to add it in to the INF though, then you should be able to install the driver.

@antiriad Looking at that report you posted, I don't see anything listed with Nvidia's Vendor ID - 10DE I think your card might not be being detected in win98. Have you checked that it is properly detected?

I have a YMF744 sound card in an external enclosure over a PCIe-to-PCI bridge (made by sintech). I can do some testing with it if you think it might help.

I figured it wasn't actually working, but I don't have anything installed to measure if it was making a difference. I'll have a look through IOS.VXD again, maybe there's a way to force ESDI_506.PDR to initialize hidden in there. What tool are you using to measure MB/s?
