Wow, thanks so much for the help. I've dredged the internet looking for some info on this stick but I always forget about the way back machine. I find it pretty amazing that they say to select the CH Flight Stick Pro since it's not even made by Saitek 🤣.

I got it going. I just edited my post. I think I'm going to rebuild my board to use the 5v line from the keyboard since I'm wanting to convert from 5pin din to 6pin mini-din anyway and I can do it all on one board. Thanks for this project. I'm inspired to make something myself now.

I have no clue what caused the issue but it's resolved now. I re-seated my IO board several times and changed the IDE cable and that didn't fix it. I put in a 16GB Sandisk CF card instead of the one of the two 8GB Transcend I had been using and it started working. But now the two Transcend CF cards …

I'd love to put OS/2 Warp on my 486 or P1 but I can't seem to get it to give me a valid partition. It only sees ~95 MB total on both machines, not enough for a bootable partition even. I have installed it in virtualbox once.

I didn't want to just leave this open. I replaced all the caps in my AT PSU and It fixed all the weird issues with my sound card. May it last another 30 years.

The replacement caps I ordered haven't come in yet but I did get the atx to at adapter. Looks like the psu may have been the issue. Even the cd audio sound is louder. This has been an intermittant problem though so I hate to jinx myself and say it's solved, but it's all working great right now.
