I think the thread has gotten off-track. As I understand it, "Unregistered" used the original Cli2Nop and it's not working well. My guess for the next step would be to re-install Duke3D (NOT Cli2Nop'ed). Then run Snover's modified CLi2Nop on it. BTW, Dijeeh "Redneck Rampage" was covered pretty …

My fan does this too quite often 😀 I will go in and give it a cleanout later A friend of mine baught a Geforce4 MX, and his fan on it, totaly siezed up within about one month of having it. Not good, the fan just up and died!

If you haven't given it a go already, test it out. No need to work around with programs to get sound to work in Doom, Hexen and Heretic anymore. http://www.doomsdayhq.com/ Jdoom is the way go fellas 😉 If only they could make a port for games like Strife, Duke3D and Blood!

Of all games i managed to get working, pretty much every game i tired. Strife, fails to work. I get sound, but whenever it plays the game goes choppy, a few FPS maybe. done cli2nop, and all that on it Still no go.

I don't know how it works but heres how i use it. Put cli2nop and patch.exe into the game directory u want to fix.. Then go to command promt, navigate to your games directory where the .exe's are and type.. CLI2NOP doom.exe doomfixed.exe Doom was used for an example. This should be all you need to …

OK! i got the game to run It only works using the command prompt though, and thus VDM settings dont come into play when rr1.exe is run. Thus, i get IRQ conflict error if sound is on If i turn sound off in setup.exe i can load into the game just fine. But having no sound is quite useless Erm.. how do …
