Are you sure nusb36 isn't the issue ? Where did you get the motherboard ? Have you tried any other ram ? After reading thru this I cannot find any ref that you tried diff RAM, diff Video card or tried not using nusb32.

Is that board Rev 3 ? Does not look like rev 1 or 2, must be 3. Sorry I have a rev 1/2 backpanel but no rev 3 and they are not the same (mouse/KB on r1 and 2 are horizontal not vertical).

Yes most any SCSI cdrom should work. The PAS16 uses passive termination and you should use a passive terminator on end of the scsi cable if you have issues reading with a cdrom that uses active term (and disable cd's term).

I would call each of those a Generation, not a Period, in time. What happens with core, core2 and then the i3, i5, i7 series which each covered nearly decade. Are each of those still in the same time period even though many tech changes came within each of those generations?

Is an early rev of a Unisys 300 486 series board, the later rev of same supported 25 and 33mhz clocks and was about 6months later from the docs rev date.
