I installed a new-to-me video card today, and it seems to have ended my motherboard's ability to output video: Neither it nor any other cards are working in that motherboard anymore. The damaged area seems to be behind a RAM chip. Please see attached photo.

Have you considered the PCI version of Nvidia's GeForce 6200 card? I used to use one, I may still have it too. It worked for DOS 6.22 and Windows 98SE, even had drivers and support for 1920x1080 resolution in the latter OS. I thought the Geforce 6 had issues with windows 9x drivers? AKA the last …

I'm no expert, but have you tried using different SD cards? Also, are the IDE "slots" that you refer to the primary and secondary headers on the motherboard, or are they two connectors on the same cable?

I bought the Commander Keen games from Steam and I'd like to play them on my retro PC. I copied the DOSBox folder to my DOS 6.22 drive, but the games want to run in Windows instead of DOS mode. I have Windows 3.11 and 98 too, but I don't know where to put the folders to run the games.

My FIC KA-6100 motherboard has similar specs, it's currently running a GeForce 2 without issues in DOS, though I haven't installed any games yet. I'm waiting for a TNT2 Pro to arrive, I hear it has better compatibility with both DOS and Windows 98.
