You could try using http://www.oldskool.org/pc/throttle/DOS/ and see if this helps out your speed problems.

I had the same issue on my computer (Windows 98SE) when trying to install Diablo II. I can boot it up tomorrow, attempt to install Diablo II on it and see if I can help with the troubleshooting?

Kind of a newer solution, but you could always put your hard drive into one of those Hard Drive readers (such as https://www.inateck.com/collections/hard-driv … k-sa03001-black) and create a virtual Hard Drive using appropriate software?

Lotus III runs fine on CPUs with less than 333MHz, otherwise you are required to patch the executable. Also find it's better to play it on pure DOS. An easy solution is to downgrade the bus from 100MHz to 66MHz you will be able to play it without problems (4x66 = 266MHz). I was able to run the …

Hello there, I was able to resolve this today, so it's only fair to share my information. The Divide Overflow Error relates to clock speeds, my fix was to use http://www.oldskool.org/pc/throttle/DOS/ and run the a flag, as it would run the CPU as if it was between a 386 and a 486 processor. In …

I've found that the Extron RGB-HDMI 300 A coupled with a HDMI scaler (I went with a TESmart HDMI Splitter) will do the job no problem at all and allow for seamless capture of both DOS and Win9X content.
