Fresh install and still the same problem. Stuff still works, but there's a pause before PCM samples play, and successive sounds are spaces apart because of it.

Got my soundcard a while back and finally got around to installing it. It works great, though I'm encountering an annoying issue in Windows 3.11, where everything stalls for a but under a second second right before any PCM sample is played. Got everything up an running, but I have one issue: in SB mode at least, PCM is way louder than everything else, even with PCMVol at 1, FMVol at 7 and LineVol at 7. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just how sound blaster mixers work?
