That's either a typo, or some naming convention. It can't be 0.047pF, because the parasitic capacitance between the dip socket pins would be like 10 times bigger, and looking where it's placed (power rails) it would make no sense at all. I think there should be 47nF caps, but that P letter would …

I have few modules with clear signs of chips being sanded and relabeled, so yes, it's quite possible that some chips on your modules (not necessarily the parity ic) are fake. Try acetone test on yours. IPA will wipe fake white labels, while acetone can dissolve black goo used to cover the sanding …

Yeah, the memory bandwidth. 720 is used in text modes, when the pixels are the font bytes, using just one bit per pixel, as opposed to 4 bits per pixel used in 16-color modes, where you need to transfer x4 more data. But still, 720 pixels would need "just" 12.5% higher bandwidth than the 640 pixels …

Which OS you're using? msdos 6.22 doesn't know about LBA, you'd want at least 7.0 or higher.

Btw, this board and mine too has jumpers to configure DIMM voltage between 3.3v and 5v. Does it affect SIMMs too? Like, is it required to have DIMM voltage to be set to 5v when SIMM modules are used (sure, never together with DIMM)? The datasheet for 430TX say it drives 3.3v outputs and its inputs …
