If I use io.sys Win98SE (Q311561) and change the two bytes to below: 00009523: 87h 00009524: 02h from what address can I safely cut the file?

It would be fun if my 100 Mhz Cyrix got beaten by a 486. I think the P3 version will work on a 486 (or maybe the P5 version too).

Forgot: P5 is the preferred version. P3 version is probably the same speed as P5, but you never now with old hardware 😀

Anyone have a Pentium 75 MHZ or 100Mhz that can run a 'bench' progam for me in DOS (or Windows ) (is 16bit )? I only have a Cyrix 5x86 (slow FPU) and need something faster to test the program I made vs a 68060 75MHz Motorola CPU It will take less than 10 seconds. anyone?
