in my honest opinion look for a geforce 2 gts. Can be found cheap and will cover most mid90s to early 2000's gaming. If you get into the hobby I promise it wont be the only card in your collection but i think a good place to start. Voodoo 1 or voodoo 2 would be period correct. Or play in software …

Yeah it's just a simple spare parts build. Similar to a build I did back in my highschool days. Home made fan controller. Little bit of paint , cutting and grinding involved. Old beat up enlight case made a perfect candidate 🤣. Also had to have to cold cathode lighting to make it period correct 🤣

shipping was $29 for the tower. still a good deal in my book if the voodoo 2 works. plus the additional spare parts i scabbed out of the case ! can never have to many spare parts and ide cables 🤣

seller posted a pic of it booting into bios so im crossing my fingers for a working voodoo2. if not i have another dead voodoo2 i can make a piece of wall art. 2 dead voodoos in a dead mother board hanging on the wall. could call it sli art 🤣

ahh gotcha . yeah normally wouldn't make a dumb purchase like this. Mystery box for sure. I can at least scab the internals and chunk the case. its got some rust issues 🤣

Todays retro activity case mod like its Y2k ! Lan party grab handles, blow hole with obnoxious case fans, cold cathode lighting, led temp displays, fan toggle switches and custom paint job. Pc case was in really bad shape! I wouldn't cause any harm to a clean beige tower. I'll post some pics when …

What is the board revision ? 1.03 only supports up to p3 600mhz katmai minus the 133 fsb varient... revision 1.04 pcb seems to have support up to 800Mhz out of the box. I have never had my hands on one.

I'd say GeForce 2 gts would be pretty period correct. I have a cusl2 board laying around with a 1ghz coppermine in it. Probably going to pair it with a GeForce 3 ti 200 once I get a case for it all.
