I have 2, problem is the A7N8X-X has no sata, and the matsonic ms8177c has sata but does not recognise the drives as viable for installation, and that's with slipstreamed ahci assuming it makes a difference with that drive

So if I understand correctly - and there's a fair chance i don't: 1333 fsb chips will probably work but will downclock to 1066 - including the e8xx series Quad core 1066 chips will stress the board too much so go dual core.. I just tested the 890 again having thought the scores were a little low - the 960 scored higher somehow? I know.. comparatively. Now I have default settings score of 85148 with 162144 CPU 3DMarks & at 1080 I get 84843 with 162394 CPU 3DMarks. 😀
