Agree with keenmaster486 - eliminate any hard disks from the system and leave it just with a known-good floppy disk and drive.

What version of the game do you have? As I understand it, version 2.1 only supports MT-32 and two old IBM audio cards. Version 2.2 added support for Ad Lib.
