Thanks- I was surprised how quickly I managed to get it working. I've seen plenty of information stating that many .NET features are missing from Windows 98, so I wasn't really expecting to have much success with it.

Version 0.9.9b is now available- please see the link in my original post. This version includes an undo/redo feature within the timbre editor section. I don't plan on adding any further new features ahead of v1.0.0, so I've marked this release as a beta.

I don't own the GOG version, but my understanding is that it simply contains the files from LucasArts' talkie version configured to run via DOSBox- therefore retaining native MT-32 support.
