Ok. Thanks for the ideas. I cannot get through the GOG support maze because I am not actually using a Ubuntu distro. I am using Debian 10 Buster. I am going to keep looking for libcaca.so.0: and paste it in where it is supposed to be. This problem has been cropping up with other GOG games and also …

Ok. Thanks.. That was a bit of information I needed to know. It is interesting though that I have the same game downloaded from GOG on a Win 7 Ultimate machine and a Win 11 Pro and that dependency is not in either of them so If it is a GOG issue, it is specific to what they are offering for Linux. …
