OK, so I'm running Deus Ex, latest official patch and getting around 34-49 fps on liberty Island. On average it hovers at 44. I use a Voodoo 3 3000 on a Coppermine PIII 1ghz, 512mb of RAM With Win98se. Runs really well in Glide although I can only use 16 bit colour depth. Does anyone have a Voodoo …

Probably most likely something wrong with the card. Glad you're getting a refund mind. I went through around 2 faulty gpus or ones that just didn't want to play ball until I found my beloved Voodoo 3 3000 😀

What's dxdiag displaying ? You looked up the hardware ID in device manager? That should help you find the model. The card also could be bad, what gpumodel does it say immediately when you boot windows (top left corner)

Definitely save and get a Voodoo 3. They sell on amibay for around 80/90/100 euro. Well worth It in my opinion. No driver issues great performance for glide and dx 7 an 6 games.

Loaded up Turok and it works. 3dfx Splash Screen yay! Now see if I can enable it for unreal games.....

Thanks for your input everybody. The above games I'm making sure they all run in Glide. Ahh right about the Unreal that makes sense. Heretic II runs in glide nicely. As long as there's nout wrong with the Voodoo. I have not got Turok unfortunately 🙁 it's pretty rare on ebay PC version.

Thank you for your reply. I lowered the Gamma in game and upped the monitor brightness ( game is really dark normally ) it looks a bit better.
