Nah, I won't be upset. I enjoy such discussions. I've got an old Live! Platinum here...I haven't heard much difference in the Audigy 2s, although they support more stuff than mine...those Audigy 4s, however, I hear are a huge improvement.

The -ioctl switch made the opening movie work properly for me, thanks Mike. The game is a little skippy for me...but the biggest problem I have is the music seems to restart itself a lot, mainly during battle.

Hardly small things to me...hmm.. Well, the music quality has been just fine for me in DosBox; it is just very quiet. 😒 The mixer thing helped quite a bit though.

Oh...well...that would explain that! The game runs like crud for me at 320x240, even with all the graphics options turned off. The only way I can have it run smoothly at the moment, in DosBox, is in enhanced imaging. 🙁
