Check the solders of the ROM and the QDSP chips.

Hi. UNISOUND 0.80a not only fails to enable the audio from the onboard MIDI synthesizer of the OPTi931 sound cards that have an onboard wavetable chipset of some sort but disables it if UNISOUND is run after the original drivers (SNDINIT).

Yes, thank you! The editing of the SOUND16.CFG as you suggested enables the onboard AdMOS. Also MIX stetting there works apart from SHARE. The UNISOUND 0.80a not only fails to enable but if run after SNDINIT again disables the MIDI channel. Just wondering if there is a QS1003 ROM dump available …
