Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Hi all, A few corrections in this new build: Fixed "Start profile manually with a specific DOSBox version" creating an incomplete .conf file (_Rob); Fixed downloaded websearchengine images sometimes being saved in invalid format (_Rob); Linux: Fixed screenshot context menu items not responding. All …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Neville, I think the easiest way to do this is to close DBGL, and make a backup of DBGL's "db" folder. Then, load db/database.script into your favourite text editor and search/replace the string that you would like to correct. Just restart DBGL to test your changes.

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Thanks for your positive comments everybody! Forgot about another PC-98 specific extension, HDI for harddrive images. Is it doable? Done. Is there a way to batch import multiple .dbgl.zip files? Well..., now there is! Check out this new build and let me know if you spot any issues. 2: A check box …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Hi, I think I found a bug. If I right click on any game in the list and select "open folder", it seems that DBGL tries to open the parent directory of the executable and not the root directory. This could trigger some weird actions. Should be fixed in my latest DBGL build. I have a question... when …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Hi b0rt, Thanks for the heads up, this is indeed a regression that slipped through beta testing 0.90. Can you please try my new build 0.91beta2 to see if this fully resolves the problem that you're seeing? All the latest files To upgrade from 0.90, just fetch dbgl.jar as usual.

Hi all, I've just uploaded 0.91beta1 with a few minor improvements: * Fixed check for default DosboxVersion when initiating 'add game wizard' (Luke) * Fixed MobyGames link created using the 'add game wizard' * Provide some support for importing GoG profiles (sometimes consisting of multiple .confs, …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Hi all, I've made another GamePackArchive (161MB) available for testing; the fifth collection of freeware, shareware and demo games as reviewed in ADG, episodes 177 to 258. It contains the following games: Albion Alien Breed: Tower Assault Alley Cat Alone in the Dark Assault Rigs Backlash: A Turret …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Hi arobbo, not sure what you mean with ".. still not functional when replacing the previous jar". Does dbgl not start at all? Or do you get an error upon dbgl startup? Maybe try starting dbgl with dbglcons.cmd from a cmd window to check if a stacktrace is dumped. In any case, make sure you have …
