alt-enter actually works.. It places the game in a "window", then I repress alt-enter to switch back to it and the window comes back full screen thanks for the tip.. doesn't fix the alt-tab problem, but it's a workaround 😀

sorry to reply again.. just discovered that by turning off Hardware Acceleration (in control panel / directX / directDraw) it fixes this alt-tabbing bug (overlay mode).. so yea something is bugged up with overlay mode and alt-tabbing

yea hq2x looks nice but makes everything look too "perfect" imo.. 2xsai maintains that pixelized look of older games to some extent 🤣

I got it to run ok in OpenGL, it doesn't crash when I alt-tab, but surface/overlay/ddraw all die when I alt-tab anyways thanks again, I'll just use opengl instead

Ok dosbox 0.60 works 100% with no alt-tabbing error But 0.61 to 0.63 don't.. oh well.. guess I solved my problem 😀 Fix the bug if you can, thanks again 😀

Thanks for the help I've tried SDL 1.0.8 dll, dosbox won't run.. and SDL 1.2.8 runs fine, but the bug it still there. I'll keep checking for more SDL.dlls, I can't seem to find more Output is in overlay.. I've tried surface, same problems Thanks again, if you have more tips lemme know
