dang, its times like this I wish my dad didn't toss our win 3.1 disks! GEERRRR!

I just started playing the game and noticed that the speech boxes (with the little heads) were the older ones from the text version of the game. Does the dos version not include the nice looking high res heads? is there a way to hack it so it does?

i agree - a scummVM only for Sierra games would make me the happiest person on earth. Maybe one will be included in the "apparently" upcoming re-releases of some of the classic sierra games. I say apparaently because so far the date has been changed 4 times.

well i got it to work in windows - it was that the CD was in the wrong drive...now to try and get it to work in dosbox 0.65 (i was copying the game files over so i wouldn't need the disc...perhaps this is causing my problems)

i just tried the same game in windows and noticed i have no speech in windows either. I have played this game before and I know I had speech...what am I doing wrong?

Hey everyone... I have the CD version of FP and was trying to play it in DosBox and for some reason I only have text - was the Dos version text only or should I be able to get speech? I've gotten speech to work with KQ6, and LB2 but no luck so far with FP.

could someone explain exactly what these frontends are? 🤣 (btw...i think i have the speed issues figured out its just a matter of a little automation)

just a quick question... i have the CD Version (with speech) so does that mean it includes both the dos and windows versions? both the install and the setup files are on the cd which i take it means yes.

okay i have the cd version which includes both the windows and dos (am i correct?) either way i was using dos box to try and play the dos version... however i also tried the windows version with the new installer and had no success...perhaps changing colours manually will help.
