in new version of dosbox i found theat the default core is auto. how is this diffirent from previous? when now i play games i get no frame loss, theats great, but instead of 3000 cycles displeyad i see "max", and my cpu usage is more thean 90%. can theat be bad for cpu?, somewhere i read theat too …

U can look for mech warrior in wiki, u ll find some program theat it enables it to run in 2000 and in xp, but for mercenaries u still need dos or dosbox

i also cant get cd working, i have this problem also with other games, off all games i only can start full throttle

i changed from surface to ddraw, and i get more than 20% drop in cpu usage, sometimes its more than 50% so now i can run almoust ewery game on my amd 2400 i tested crusader no remorse and terminator future shock and they are working great (with frame skip 4)
