thats it. i played 0.94 the whole night. no graphic issues or new bugs found. hmm iam wondering if it is possible to make a fix that FFE remembers the settings in the options screen at startup (detail level, space color...). what do you think? and good luck with your next release. 😉

I'll need to check my list but the Windows ver of the XCOM games also require some patching. I've always had to lower hardware acceleration to get the games to work properly but I believe there are unofficial patches so you don't have to do this. ive tryed your binary today with a clean FFE, but only got an application error. ive also copyed a sdl.dll in the FFE folder and to windows\system32 with no other results. maybe there is a other file missing i dont know... edit: iam using winxp sp2.

i dont know if you are using the patched win95 version or the unpatched plain dos version. your first post sounds like, you are trying to run the dos game under windows without VDMS or dosbox. since you have opened a second thread in the dosbox forum ive posted an answer there...
