You may also use a boot disk - works for me. The game runs fine (with minor graphic bugs) on a Geforce3 Athon1400 with SB16PCI.

YESSS! It was the copy protection which prevented me to play my own game. So I've cracked it with a patch from gamecopyworld.com and still have all the videos - some little graphic bugs but it runs.

Is there a way to get heart of darkness running on xp? Interplay says that it isn't compatible but maybe there's a patch?

With the new beta release of SCUMMVM BASS finally runs really well BUT ... it doesn't matter which language I chose in the install menu it always starts in english. Is there a was to fix this? I persume not because of the way SCUMMVM works but perhaps I am wrong.

I've tried to install these but even the install will not work. It says something about a too long filename and quits the install process.

I think the problem is the pci soundboard. Unfortunately my mainboard doesn't have an ISA slot anymore so i can't use my old isa soundboard.
