great, my mouse feels broken... I have to click really hard on the left button for it to work... it may be it's a virus, but I doubt it. The saves work, but I came to another damned freeze point on the troll thing on the cage, I can inspect it but it froze when I tried talking to it. This was inside …

Sweet!

in Windows
Thanks! I could really use the save, I tried restarting the game 4 times and it didn't work. I copied all of the from the data folder on the first cd over but the problem didn't go away... every time it just kept freezing like that. Could you try to make it a save on the 4th or 5th slot? I'm saving …

Sanitarium problems

in Windows
I'm having the same problem... I found the file and put it in my data directory and made copies of my saves just in case. So far the game seems the same, and my saved games still work, which means the patch didn't do crap. Odd but I'm on chapter 3 and not 2... the level 2 lockout bug shouldn't …

Re: Dragon Lore (not enough "low memory")

in DOS
I haven't tried very much but I think that Dragon Lore won't work after it forces me to change CDs. Maybe this is a problem involving VDMS? It asks for the second CD, I put the second CD in and shut the CD-Rom drive... and it won't work?

HELP

in DOS
I'm stuck on DL, I'm at the second dog after you attach the rope to the cow. I'm now able to take all of the items in the cabin and leave but I don't know how to put the stuff ON. Wheres my inventory, it seems I can only pick up and drag items... but I do remember wearing items before. Wouldn't have …

Hmm, well I'm not sure, now that I've done the Xwing fix, and I came back to this game for a test... the game didn't work. Anway, I'm confused... probably a small mistake. *edit* Nope, no small mistake... it's giving me a tripple "bad command or file name" in a row. It's could be a problem with …

Re: XWING-CD (CD detection)

IT WORKS :) BOTH GAMES WORKING THE DAY B4 I LEAVE! My soundblasters just broke last night I think so I haven't been getting any noise out of them. From what I read of the SAPUCDEX is that audio sound doesn't get played, but my CD rom massively sped up after I loaded the game. I'm thinking the game …

WOW! IT's WORKIN!!! OMG! But one problem, HOLY CRAP IT'S TOO FAST! The old guy by the shack's mouth moves so fast that it's about 3x the fastest chewing speed. Still gotta get Xwing working too ;/ I haven't tried removing my zip drive yet so yeah... not sure if I want to right now, it's kind of late …

MajorGrubert: I don't know much on computer history, and I'm not sure if I really understand any of what you just told me. Pretty much what I got out of that is what "safe mode" is, and I kind of knew what it did. It limited the "working environment" and made startup quick and only loaded the most …

Re: XWING-CD (CD detection)

I'll try those 2 ideas in the order you told me to. I'm going on vacation tomorrow and won't be bringing my computer. I'll be gone for 2 weeks so don't expect any replies from me for a while.

Re: XWING-CD (CD detection)

I fixed up my computer profile with AIDA32. Now I have none of the information missing, but the program didn't show me my western digital hard drive's RPM speed so I had to go to the link in AIDA32 to find the information I needed. I found the RPM under Storage--->ATA for my other hard drive. I had …

Re: XWING-CD (CD detection)

in DOS
heh, all I did was copy paste and fix some of it... but I know it'll save you time and it'll be less of a pain so I guess I can stop :P. I only have 1 CD-rom it's a rewritable burner as you can tell by the 3 numbers. I have a zip drive, and what's that drive (smaller hard plastic disks that hold I …

I found 2 contradicting reviews with the system requirements. So I guess you're right, but I don't have the box so I'm not sure where to look. The requirements are listed on the bottom of both of the sites. http://www.justadventure.com/reviews/DragonLore/DragonLore.shtm (this one shows SVGA) http:// …
