http://arstech.com/install/ecom-prodshow/usb2isar.html It says it supports DMA and all that jazz, so wouldn't it be able to use a AWE64 Gold or a Soundblaster 16? If it would work for those and other ISA cards, I could see it being worth 150 bucks.

DOSBOX doesn't access hardware directly, so probably not. It's not like it lets games access sound cards directly even on XP systems with true ISA slots.

They won't work for things like soundcards, they would work for somthing like a serial port.

Didn't that company have a custom DOSBOX build that worked with one of their USB to ISA products ? It's nowhere on their website now, unless I missed something. Was it for a much older build of Dosbox? It was a while back. I don't know if they kept it up to date . I think it was discussed on Vogons …
