and connected the output from the Roland into the LINE IN on my Soundblaster but I get ny sound from the Roland thru my SB....is it because the SB lacks any mixer or do I need some mixer software like the SB16 has? Wait, I remember reading something about running AC97 onboard sound in DOS. Also, this driver may be interesting. But doesn't all laptop have AC97 sound chip?
