be aware that loads of the later compilations still pack the same pre-1996 visual basic trashes for padding up the game quantity (Softkey/Smartsaver) which may not likely have what you're looking for

Even a CPU that low can take advantage of a V2 over supposedly more appropriate 3d cards. Multitexturing helps, even on a 486.

Having ran a phpBB eons ago I can surely tell you qbix is right and this is sadly very much the case of phpbb's functionality being closely knit to theme-specific php files (which would then need some painfully required manual updating per patch), even more so than SMF

All of them. You'd really need it set to false if you plan to output to a real CRT that would 4:3 them gracefully without a stretch
