I don't expect any trouble with Q3. 1.32 should work fine. Blind advice about source ports don't realize they won't work in Win98 (mainly because of some unix/gcc/sdl2 cruft reasons which could've been avoided with basic competence)

Half-Life through PCem v13 from start to finish. I did finish it earlier but forgot to post about it (and I did finish it nearly 2 decades prior so). I wanted to play through it again with scary low framerates 😀

Could be worse. I'd predict Debian Free Software Group would freak out if it doesn't run without a copyrighted rom and would order (not ask) to support the Bochs roms and include them and some tiny linux hard drive image.

Yes though i haven't tried any of the soundscape emulation stuff yet, i'm not certain if the drivers i've tried support that. I mostly tried the 2000-2002 creative drivers There's even the bug with Epic's dos pcm-playing games that also shows the same difference using the later WDM driver.

Tyrian's got a 2 player coop mode (one on keyboard, the other on mouse, and the ships are special and can fuse together) Doom Legacy is probably the only Doom source port that's available for dos while supporting split screen play. It's a very rough and outdated source port though Jazz Jackrabbit …

The one in "The Starfighters" (Oct 94) Sure it's a P90 32mb w/ SB16 and 28kbps modem, but what made it? Monitor looks Vivitron-ish from the back so i'm guessing a bit on Gateway 2000 p5-90...

Either use an older card (like a GeforceFX or a ATI Rage 128 Fury Pro Ultra 128 AGP 32mb Fury Pro) or use a wrapper. This is why dgVoodoo was made. The DX10 gen (And some of the dx8-9) had already made massive regressions this isn't unusual, it's The Way It's Meant To Be Played(R)(TM)
