Speedsys, 3dbench and PCPBench seem to be the standard. Topbench can't hurt to try too 😀

I don't know what use these two IBKs have toward the fork. These are the Lee Jackson IBKs used in Rise of the Triad 1.1-1.2 (which were regressed in 1.3). Lots of undefined instruments, so probably best to merge in with fatman patches... They're nabbed from the GPL source code release of ROTT, a few …

On another board I thought it would be a funny idea to try to run the latest Doom source ports on the Voodoo2. I only had success with Prboom+ and Zandronum so far, most ports rely on recent Microsoft libraries and regress older platforms 🙁

I'd run it at 300mhz. 440LX is so limited... If you really wanted to keep with the "period" you would fall back to late97-mid98 hardware, which brings a huge mixed bag of host video cards.... Riva128, Rage Pro Turbo, Mystique etc. and the Voodoo2 😀

It's obvious with using a Glide wrapper. The Quake2 screenshot function is nothing more than a bunch of glReadPixels saved to a 24-bit TGA. 3dfxgl.dll is applying that filter in software (would be nice to have this filter in real time, but..... 😀)

What are some? And I mean .mod and not .xm/.s3m/.it/.anythingelse. A general search for a .mod will wind you with rather..... amiga/atari ST-sounding stuff and chiptunes 😀

Quake's complaints about "TOO BROWN" came after the colored lighting stuff seen in '97 Unreal screenshots, and id's greatest rivalry was really started from then... There were Quake2 screenshots then but didn't have any colored lighting implemented (and still even used flashblend spheres) so Quake2 …

You don't. DOSBox does not support SHARE or running "business applications" - it is strictly intended for video gaming purposes. You said it runs fine in Windows XP in VMWare - why not just stick to that?
