Again, a reminder, YOU DON'T HAVE TO INSTALL IE4! IT IS NOT FORCED You can have Win95C with IE3 if you just cancel the 'we gotta complete your system' dialog after you finished installing Windows.

Win95C (OSR2.5) definitely. Don't buy into the FUD about the IE4 desktop crap it comes with - you can abort that after first boot and keep IE3. Windows ME's hatedom has most to do with the removal of the Command Prompt boot option and the "WHERE THE FUCK IS MY PROGRAMS WINDOWS ME WHY ARE YOU HIDING …

You CAN however do a S3 Savage 4 + Voodoo2 + PowerVR PCX2 combo. You'll then be able to use ALL the supported APIs in UnrealEngine 1 games 😀

aspect=false would do the fitting, but I don't like that personally since it makes games appear undesirably stretched. Remember that DOS machines in their wacky resolutions, be it 640x200, 360x480, always outputted to a 4:3 aspect (mostly)

Capturing Voodoo2 footage is tricky, you'll need a VGA2USB or VGA2PCI capture device for that. elianda has captured V2 footage here before. It's going to be more than a pretty penny, though Voodoo3s and later have S-VIDEO out which can lead to cheaper but of course lower quality recording solutions …

I use "Resqflpy", which isn't the best option anyway but it's worked fine for 5.25"'s for me so far.
