Nope, it doesn't. The feature would be quite nice to have, but according to the devs, it's very hard to implement "Save States" in DOSBox. Remember, we're dealing with a system that's quite complex in terms of both hard- and software.

Try qemu. It supports Win95/98SE (i've tested both), networking, HiColour/TrueColour modes, etc. .

For many old CD games, you can simply copy the contents of both CD's into one directory and mount that in DOSBox. I did that with RAII, though i don't know if there will be problems later in the game.
